This policy does not govern a third party’s independent privacy practices, including a third-party website, social platform, professional firm, or service reached through a link. When a third party collects information directly from you, its own privacy notice may also apply.

We may receive information from service providers, event or referral partners, social platforms, or other people when permitted by law. We do not ask you to submit Social Security numbers, account credentials, payment-card details, or other sensitive financial information through the public contact form.

Mobile information and messaging consent: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Our current position: Summit does not sell personal information for money. Summit does not currently use personal information from this site for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, this policy and any required opt-out mechanism should be updated before the change takes effect.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The site and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep features working, remember preferences, understand traffic, diagnose performance, and measure communications. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect site functionality.

If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and stating that you wish to appeal. You may also contact the appropriate state regulator where permitted.

7. Email, calls, and text messages

You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the link in the message or contacting us. Transactional or request-related messages may continue when necessary to complete an interaction you initiated.

If you separately and affirmatively consent to text messages, Summit HQ may send recurring texts about your inquiry, scheduling, reminders, requested information, events, community updates, or marketing where your consent covers marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help, or contact us using the information below. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of receiving requested information or purchasing any product or service. Other reasonable revocation requests will be honored as required by law.

8. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information we handle. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention periods vary according to the information, purpose, and applicable requirements.

9. Children’s privacy

This public website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and address the situation.
